Adele home haunted

A national newspaper reported on Sunday that the multiple Grammy and Brit winning singer was spooked after hearing things that made her jump in the historic listed mansion.

The Sun newspaper stated she is paying a bodyguard £100,000 a year to stay with her at home and to accompany her around the world.

Two other full-time security guards have been hired to man the gates of her £15,000-a-month home.

On Monday the same paper featured images of the Tottenham-born performer shopping at a Tesco store, probably at Broadbridge Heath.

The County Times reported in January that she was moving to the area to be closer to her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, who lives in Brighton.

The property on a private estate, reported to be worth £6m but that she is renting for £15,000 a month, has ten bedrooms, 25 acres, a swimming pool, a helicopter pad and a tennis court. It also boasts uninterrupted views towards the South Downs.
