Last year, runners braved the rain for the 5km run, which started in Steyne Gardens and, for the first time, men were allowed to take part. The charity has postponed all Race for Life events this spring and summer, across the UK, to protect the country’s health during the coronavirus outbreak. This includes the Race for Life 5k that was due to take place at Steyne Gardens in Worthing on Sunday, June 21, but a new date has been set for Sunday, September 27.
