Notes: No access to Dover Lane when heading west along A27. Continue towards Arundel & turn back eastwards along A27. Parts of this walk could be very muddy.

Tuesday, February 8, 10am: The Countryman Inn, Shipley going south, 5½ mile, flat (only 4 stiles), circular walk through farmland, now left to grow wild, to Pen Bridge, along an ancient droving road to Bentons Place farm and back north to Knepp Castle and the village. The Knepp Estate Manager, if available, will give us a ten minute talk. Could be wet and muddy in places. Could see Tamworth Pigs, Old English Longhorn Cattle, Exmoor Ponies and Fallow Deer. Friday, February 11, 11am: Southwater, 2 ½ mile flat circular walk along bridleways, country lanes and the Downs Link. May be muddy in places.
