Bexhill College confirms Covid-19 cases

A spokesman for the college, which is based in Penland Road, Bexhill, said the positive cases are being dealt with ‘in line with the public health guidelines’.

The college did not confirm how many cases had been reported, or when the most recent case was recorded.

A student at the college said he and his classmates were told that four students had tested positive for Covid-19 as of Monday morning (November 16).

A spokesman said: “Yes we’ve had positive cases within the College community and we are dealing with them in line with the public health guidelines.”

Bexhill Sixth Form College has been approached for further information.

Bexhill College becomes the latest of a number of schools and colleges in the area to have reported Covid-19 cases within their communities over the past two weeks.
