St Robert Southwell School celebrates Fairtrade Fortnight
Pupils and staff from St Robert Southwell Catholic Primary School in Horsham marched around the roads near the school dressed as Fairtrade products and producers on Friday March 2 to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight.
As a Fairtrade school pupils have been designing posters and leaflets to promote Fairtrade and learning about the lives of Fairtrade producers.
The School Council planned the march as part of the Fairtrade Foundation campaign “TAKE A STEP IN 2012” decided that the pupils should chant “Fairtrade for a Fair World” as they walked.
They will also be registering their steps on the website www.fairtrade.org.uk/step
