A Levels: Cranleigh School celebrates another successful year

Spirits are high at Cranleigh school as students achieve another successful set of A-Level results.

This year 79% of students received grades A*-B and the school celebrates an overall pass rate of 99.8%.

Director of Studies, Mr David Boggitt, said: “We are lucky to have a high staff to student ratio and we collaborate very well in the sixth form, with teachers, tutors, house staff and students all working closely together to achieve their best.

Forty-seven percent of students achieved A*-A grades, including Emily Hill, Clare Marsh, Will Palmer, Chris Paton and Jon Stocks, who received three or more A* grades.

New Headmaster, Martin Reader, said: “These students had an excellent attitude to learning and have gained strong results whilst also managing to take the lead in a whole range of activities and enjoying their Sixth Form to the full. I know they will go on to be very successful.”

The majority of students have been accepted to their first choice University.
