Pardonez-moi! Parlez vous Francais?

It was entirely appropriate that the concert which took place on 14th July - Bastille Day, should consist of music by French Composers. James Lloyd Thomas from the University of Sussex played a very versatile concert, demonstrating some lovely colours on the Father Willis organ.

It was a fairly extended concert, but the delighted audience still asked for an encore.

The third concert in the series, on 21st July, will be performed by Daniel Cook from Westminster Abbey. His music will range from Bach to Hollins, passing Karg-Elert, Stanford and Widor on the way.
