Fund-raising for Macedonia in Littlehampton
THE Stojanowski family from Littlehampton, originally from Macedonia are holding a fund-raising evening at their restaurant in aid of a West Sussex project to deliver much-needed fire engines and equipment to the Mediterranean country.
The Vardar Restaurant, in Selborne Place, is hosting the Macedonian-themed evening on Saturday, March 31, with live Macedonian music, a hog roast and salad and a tot of traditional Macedonian hot plum brandy.
Raffle proceeds, donations on the night and a share of the ticket price of £20 will go towards the scheme taking the fire-fighting equipment to Macedonia.
