Frosty Windows.

JACK Frost, Jack Frost, we're blood chillingly freezing. That is my way.Jack Frost, Jack Frost, we are shivering and sneezing.I'll have my day.

But what have we done to deserve this cruel blow?

I coldly embrace.

Pavements are icy and roads covered in snow.

I rest my case!

We can't walk to the shops to queue for some food

Then go without.

The elderly are suffering in sad solitude.

That's what I'm about.

For a week we've been housebound; unable to drive.

So, where is your grit?

But the power cuts are few, as their workers all strive

To keep boilers lit.

People struggle to work and train schedules are shot.

The lines are not clear.

A winter remembered, but I'd rather not.

It cost you all dear.

Jack Frost, Jack Frost, please release your firm grip.

I hear your cries.

Here comes the sun; the ice is starting to drip

And temperatures rise.

Don Filliston.
