EXCLUSIVE: New flight paths from Gatwick could affect thousands in Sussex
That is the message from the Gatwick Area Conservation Campaign (GACC) which has produced illustrative maps indicating where additional aircraft could fly over.
The routes pass over many settlements which at present are not under direct flight paths, including Horsham, Billingshurst and the outskirts of Haywards Heath.

A statement released by Gatwick Airport Limited in response to GACC’s maps said: “Gatwick Airport is still in the early stages of carrying out the options work for the Airports Commission.
“As part of these studies we will be looking very closely at the local community impacts, including noise and air quality issues, and how these can be minimised.”
