A ten-year-old boy from Horsham who found a passion for running during the first lockdown has raised £1,700 for UNICEF by completing 100 laps around Horsham Park.

Scott Bradley finished his three month-long challenge five days ahead of schedule on Sunday, April 25, and smashed his £500 fundraising target.

Scott’s mum, Kim Pawlyna, says sponsorship soared after the County Times ran an article about the challenge earlier this month.

She said: “He was really touched by all the support in the community. He said it was a fun challenge and that he is so thrilled that he raised so much.

“We had a little finish line on his final lap and a few friends came out to cheer him on. He was over the moon about it all!”
