Lyndhurst pupils step back in time for the day

Victorian Day at Lyndhurst Infant School

Year One children at Lyndhurst Infant School stepped back in time to spend a day in the life of a Victorian child as part of their Victorian Learning Journey.

The children were taught in single sex groups and experienced a range of different Victorian activities; the Victorian school house with a very strict teacher, the bakery where they had to toil hard to make bread, playground drills and the Victorian photography studio. This learning journey also featured an exciting and memorable visit to The Weald and Downland open air museum in Singleton, Chichester.
