A wheelie bin was set alight in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday April 1) in Burgess Hill.

Emergency services got the call at around 1.40am to attend a fire outside a house in Royal George Road.

The bin was alight and was extenguished using a hose reel.

The fire service has classed the incident as ‘deliberate ignition’.
