New cafe and bar opens in Eastbourne town centre

A new cafe and bar has opened in Eastbourne town centre in a former tourist information centre.

The Clock House has opened in the Cornfield Road site after the tourist information centre moved to the council’s Welcome Building.

The cafe, which will be open between 9am-4pm on Monday-Saturday, sells cakes, sweet and savory pastries, salads and mezze boards with meats and cheeses.

The Clock House also sells ciabatta and bagel sandwiches with fillings such as pastrami, prosciutto, cream cheese and vegan cheese.
