VISITORS BRAVE RAIN TO SEE STAR HORSES

Despite relentless rain, more than 1,000 people turned out to attend John Dunlop's recent bi-annual open day at Castle stables in Arundel.

Despite the appalling weather, the event raised a magnificent 25,000.

John Dunlop's racing secretary Marcus Hosgood said: "In view of the atrocious weather, it was a staggeringly good turnout. We sold about 1,000 programmes and made about 7,000 on the day and 25,000 overall.
