Goodwood’s May Festival takes centre stage on the Downs this week.

With prize money up nearly ten per cent to £450,000, the event is all set to offer three afternoons of top-quality racing.

Thursday and Friday bring Oaks and Derby trials in the form of the Height of Fashion Stakes and Cocked Hat Stakes while Saturday’s final day kicks off with two listed races, the Tapster Stakes and the Festival Stakes.
