Tone Zoners rack up the miles - and the personal-best times

Bognor Tone Zone Runners have had a busy couple of weeks.

A record number of club competitors entered the South Downs Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay.

The team Do It For Sue – Simon Gill, Harry Annals, Marc Annals and Stephen Mcloughlin – came fourth overall which is a fantastic achievement given such a strong field was present.

Nifty 50s came second in their category and and the Bognor Dune Runners third. In the half marathon, Kari Mack completed the challenging course in 1.39.02.

The Lavant five-mile race saw Simon Gill finish in an astounding 27.27, proving that he’s in excellent form this season. The race was run by a total of 41 Tone Zoners.

Gary Mitchell came first for the club at the Hayling Billy five-miler in 37.03. In other races, Paul Coe run the Munro Half Marathon and Sarah Baker ran the Alresford 10k.
