There’s Lods to look forward to at croquet club

The new lawn has lived up to expectations and there are now 68 members.

They have just completed the Chairman’s Challenge Cup – a mixed doubles knockout tournament in which 22 teams participated over eight weeks.

It was won by John West and Penny Olsen, who both live in Lodsworth.

They played against nine other teams in the Littlehampton Croquet Club centenary match in July and came fifth out of ten teams.

They also played against the Rother Valley and West Chiltington clubs and won all their matches.
