School to host three a side event

CHRIST'S Hospital, the charitable boarding school in Horsham, will be hosting a tournament for the new sporting phenomenon, three-a-side football, on Sunday .

Already popular in America, this is the first time three-a-side football has been tried in the UK.

The event forms part of the Gatwick Diamond Games, a series of sporting occasions organised to showcase the fantastic facilities at five potential Olympic training grounds in Sussex.

Teams of 11-14 year-olds from across the region will be taking part, with representatives from the Football Association and celebrities fvrom thr world of television and sport spectating.
