Gray hat-trick helps Horsham to happy New Year against Crowborough

There were plenty of shades of Gray as Andy scored a hat-trick to help Horsham to a happy New Year as they climbed up to third in London 2 South East on Saturday.

In a rearranged game against Crowborough from November, which was switched to Coolhurst due to more poor conditions on the away pitch, the Green and Whites completed a routine 31-0 victory.

It proved a family affair with all three Johnsons, Will, James and Tom playing for the home side, as well as brothers Richard and Michael Tredgett.

As well as three tries from Gray, Declan Nwachukwu and James Johnson added scores with two conversions from Will Bell to complete the victory.

Horsham head coach Nick Stocker was delighted with the victory, read his reaction, a match report and see more pictures in tomorrow’s West Sussex County Times.

Our photographer Steve Robards also made a slideshow of his pictures, which can be watched at the top of the page.
