Riders' High Hopes For Event Season
Despite frost and rain the two openers in the South East Eventers League at Stilemans near Godalming and Tweseldown near Aldershot threw up some early challengers.
An intermediate win at Tweseldown near Aldershot ensured that Russell Cooper and Netermo took the lead in the Devoucoux Leading Horse and Rider, the winner of which will receive one of their prestigious saddles, as used by 62 of the top event riders.
Russell also heads the Bill Kear Arenas and Gallops Owners-Riders.
