PARTNERSHIP CELEBRATES EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS

THE Fontwell Park Partnership owners have celebrated an incredible five winners since January with two young horses, Or Jaune and Enthusius, which look set to have promising futures ahead of them.

The winning streak started back in October, 2006, when Phil Bell approached Heart of the South Racing to put together a Fontwell Park Partnership for some of the track's regular customers.

"It would have been too much to manage from our busy office. I knew Heart of the South Racing had great experience in running syndicates and managed a number of successful partnerships with leading local trainer Gary Moore, so the idea quickly took off," said Phil Bell, the general manager at Fontwell Park.

The initial partnership consisted of 10 owners with the French-bred horse Or Jaune, which has now won four out of his eight races '“ two wins being on home turf at Fontwell Park.

He subsequently went on to win a Novice Handicap Hurdle at Sandown, leaving the field well behind to win comfortably by five lengths.

However, his most memorable victory was the 20,000 Red Square Handicap Hurdle at Haydock Park back in April, where he put in a gutsy performance to battle virtually from last to first to win by 1.5 lengths.
