Alan King and Daryl Jacob got off to a winning start with 4/9F Valleres, taking the MansionBet Faller Insurance Novices’ Hurdle by 1½ lengths.

Gaia Vallis made it a quick-fire double for the french-bred, heading the favourite on the run-in to score by 1¼ lengths – in the MansionBet 6 Days ‘Til Cheltmas Handicap Chase, for David Bridgwater and Brendan Powell, at 12/1.

The MansionBet All I Want For Cheltmas Handicap Hurdle saw a 22-length victory for 6/4F, Mount Windsor, for Chris Gordon and Kevin Brogan.

The first for Williams and Deutsch came in the MansionBet Bet 10 Get 20 Handicap Chase, as Realm Keeper ran out a ready 6-length winner at 5/1.

Nicky Henderson’s 6/1-shot Scarpia was ridden to a ½-length success by Nico de Boinville, in the MansionBet #MerryCheltmas Maiden Hurdle.

Williams and Deutsch brought up the double with 5/6F Kapga De Lily, who finished seven lengths in front of the only other finisher, in the MansionBet At Fontwell Park Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Chase.

Galtee Mountain’s 18-length success in the MansionBet Cheltmas Countdown Handicap Hurdle, at 9/1 - for Pat Murphy and Mark Grant – rounding off another great afternoon’s racing.
