The netball team played in the final match of the schools’ Division C tournament meeting at Broadbridge Heath, knowing if they won they would secure top spot. The girls stormed into an early lead and won 10-4.

The next day, for the first time, the Year 4 tennis team won the local Road to Eastbourne tennis competition at Billingshurst TC.

Pupils in both events had a fantastic time, played some great netball and tennis and did themselves and the school really proud.

Head teacher Charlie King said: “Sport plays a big part at the school and it’s great to see such achievements in a variety of sports.”
