Lingfield Park staff members, Nicky Adams and Kate Hills are set to take part themselves. Lingfield Park as an added gesture, is offering the chance to use the All-Weather track for riders signing up to the challenge to help get them get fit for the long hours in the saddle in Sierra Nevada.

Nicky said: “This is a fantastic challenge for Marie Curie and I would definitely recommend it to any riders who are looking for an adventure and an experience of a life time.”

Participants will meet their horses in Burbion and ride through mountains to Trevélez which is the highest village in Spain at an altitude of 1,700m, the trek continues towards the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevad: “We laughed, we cried, we sang and we developed the most beautiful bonds, it was the most unbelievable experience of my life.”
