Current Under-11 Sussex League champions Horsham Hawks have joined forces with an American College Basketball player as part of their preparations for the new season.
Richard Bell, who stands at 6’9” and regularly plays in front of up to 12,000 fans for the University of Nevada Wolf Pack, kindly offered to spend time working with the U11 and U12 development squads.
The young Hawks learned about the value of hard work, commitment and resilience as well as getting a thorough workout through a series of passing and shooting drills.
After training, the Hawks players took the opportunity to ask Richard questions about his journey to Division 1 NCAA College Basketball and collect autographs.
