Club gets off to a good start

WEST Sussex Riding Club got the Summer 2011 events off to a fine start with their version of the Jumping Derby last month.

They had super weather and a very good turnout with some great performances. Notable amongst these was the riding of Lauren Turnbull, who rode three horses in the final class winning with her own horse, Tilly, and finishing third and fifth with horses owned by Caroline Allen.

West Sussex Riding Club would like to thank the show sponsors, Woodfield Country clothing, Horsin Around and SPR centre.

The next event on their agenda is the Open Ridden Show on this Sunday, May 15, which will be held at their showground, The Nanny Copse in Barnham.
