Ardingly College travelled to Eastbourne College on Tuesday 10th February to win a decisive 5-0 victory over the home team and become Sussex County Champions.

This was an extremely physical, high tempo game, full of high levels of skill and tactical awareness. After Oli Thompson scored the opening goal, Ardingly was dominant up front and the forwards were well-supported by the superb linking play and clinical tackling of the mid-field players.

As the score rose, Eastbourne did not give up and they worked hard all the way to the end. However, Ardingly presented a solid defensive unit and Adam Housby initiated many an attack through powerful kicking to the flanks.

The Ardingly team will now play in the South Regionals Final at the beginning of March.
