Moore adds to his fine record

Brighton trainer Gary Moore has a formidable success rate at Plumpton and on Sunday continued his fine record, teaming up with Sussex jockey Philip Hide for a double.

Shaman provided them with their first winner, while Master T had an effortless win in the two and a half mile handicap chase.

Shaman has been a frustrating horse, with a need to come with a very late run- otherwise when he hits the front he tends to idle. His last win had been in June two years ago, when he won by just a neck. Since then he has had eight placings, but Philip Hide rode a perfect race to come with a well-planned run to take the race.
