Magic and Santa on present run at The Haven
SANTA took presents to children in The Haven area, near Billingshurst on Christmas Day in a horse-drawn carriage pulled by Magic (23), owned by Lucy Youtan and loaned to Bruce Prime. The idea was thought up four years ago over a few pints in the Blue Ship pub with landlady Sue Cathie.
In the first year a horse-drawn carriage was used for the event but for the middle two years Santa had to go by car. This year Magic, who has been driven by Bruce since August, was trained for the run with bells on his harness so that he got used to the noise ready for his big day with Santa.
