Mid Sussex Golf Club Ladies continue to have a busy diary

The ladies of Mid Sussex Golf Club are continuing to have a very busy diary. The Rosebowl Greensomes Trophy was contested on Saturday 30th August with some very close scoring.

Mitra Taylor and Kate Watts were victorious with 36 Stableford points and were presented with roses as well as the trophy by Lady Captain Di Beningfield.

On Tuesday 2nd September 34 ladies took part in the Captain’s team v Secretary’s team Match Play competition. Dressed in either pink or blue as team colours friendly battles took place with much cheering as results started to come through.

With just two pairs to finish it was all square with the Captain’s team finally coming out on top 9 matches to 7 and only one half. Janice Woolgar was also presented with the Summer Singles Knockout Trophy after the game as the ladies enjoyed refreshments on the terrace in the lovely Autumn sunshine.
