It did not take long before the dew on the fairways and greens disappeared, leaving a course that was in great condition with greens running fast and true. The 18-hole medal competition was played from a two tee start with 75 ladies taking part. In the afternoon, after a plate of sandwiches and a drink, some of the ladies also played in a Texas Scramble, also with a two tee start.

In the evening there was a prize giving ceremony followed by a lovely meal cooked by our resident chefs. During the evening, the Ladies’ Vice Captain, Kath Honeysett, announced the Vice Captains Elect for 2015, who were named as Martin Hubbard and Sarah Brook, both of whom proved to be very popular choices. We wish them luck in their new roles.
