The 21-year-old centre-half made his Worthing debut in the shock Sussex Senior Cup third round defeat at Eastbourne Town last night.

And Hinshelwood is weighing up whether to keep the defender at the club.

He said: "It was difficult for him to come in having not met any of the boys.

“But it wasn’t any fault of his that we lost.

“He’s a big, strong and solid defender and one that I wanted to have a look at in a game situation. I need to have a think about things over the next couple of days really and see where we are.”

Olomowewe started his career at Nike Academy before joining Premier League Burnley's under-23 side back in July 2017.

The defender did not make a first-team appearance for the Clarets and has had spells at Maldon & Tiptree and Wealdstone since then.

Olomowewe made 20 appearances and netted four times for Worthing's Bostik League Premier Division rivals Enfield Town this season before departing this month.
