Wain’s treble brings joy over United as Three Bridges teams prosper


Bridges gained a 3-0 win over Crawley United. All the goals were scored by Player of the Match Drew Wain.

Bridges Mid Sussex Black team were beaten 6-2 by Saint Hill Blues who are one of three teams pushing to win the Division Two title.


Three Bridges lost 2-1 to leaders Barnes Eagles in the Surrey Youth League Premier Elite Division.

Bridges beat Ashtead Colts 6-0 away in the Epsom and Ewell League.


Bridges drew 3-3 draw against Henfield to remain joint top of Division A of the Horsham League.

Goals came from Nick Da Silva, Ollie Gill and Alfie Stark. Jack Sivill was Player of the Match.


Bridges lost 2-1 to highflyers Rustington Otters in the Sussex Sunday League.

Sussex Sunday Under 14 team were also victims of losing by the odd goal of three going down to championship contenders Rustington Otters. Luke Arnold scored the only goal.

Rhys Newell was Player of the Match

In the Mid-Sussex League Bridges beat FG Galaxy 4-2. Two goals from William IIakozimana together with one each from Lee Geer and Chandler O’Dwyer.

Bridges crushed Hassocks Juniors 11-0 in the Mid Sussex League. Player of the Match Thomas Hughes scored four and there were a further three from Jack Barlow, two from Derrick Kabbogoza one for substitute Barry Aoda plus an own goal. Player of the Match was Edward Jones.
