A brace from Pat Harding and a single contribution from Rob O’Toole ensured that Ian Chapman’s men continued their unbeaten run this season, and remained top of the Ryman League Division 1 South.

It did not take long for Burgess Hill to threaten. Danger man Greg Luer dashed his early free-kick across the visitors’ six-yard box, but the cross eluded both sets of players and rolled harmlessly out in to touch. Undeterred, Luer continued to work tirelessly down the right flank in the opening exchanges, and it was the youngster that eventually forced the breakthrough.
