Crawley Town sign Mat Sadler on loan

Crawley Town have re-signed their former full-back Mat Sadler on loan from Championship side Rotherham.

Sadler was ever-present in the Reds line-up during the last two seasons and played in every league match.

But he has been unable to break into Steve Evans’ side, making only one appearance for the Millers so far this season.

He becomes the third loan player to be signed by John Gregory this week since the loan window opened on Monday.

The other two were midfielders Josh Wright from Millwall and Preston North End’s Keith Keane,

This is in response to Crawley’s humiliating 4-0 defeat at home to Rochdale on Saturday.

A number of fans left the ground before the final whistle in disgust at the performance.

It is understood all three loan signings could play in this Saturday’s game against Fleetwood Town at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.
