Crawley Town have recalled striker Matt Harrold from his loan spell at Cambridge United.
There was a 24-hour notice of recall in his loan agreement which the club have invoked.
He will be travelling to Scunthorpe with the rest of the squad today.
The Reds’ striker joined the League Two club in February and scored once in seven games for U’s.
Dean Saunders said: “We need as many bodies as we can for the last few games because we are still struggling with injuries. Matt is back with us having got game time at Cambridge and he is in the squad that is travelling to Scunthorpe today.”
Matt joined Reds last Summer and has made 22 appearances for the club so far, including seven starts, and scored one goal.
