Crawley Down Gatwick appoint Steve Robinson as caretaker manager

The former Lewes defender and current Anvils club captain has been placed in charge following the resignation of Simon Wormull due to family and personal reasons.

Chairman Brian Suckling has already received lots of interest in the position but has not ruled out Robinson being appointed permanently.

He said: “Robbo is interim manager and we will speak more as the week develops.

“The priority for the club is business as usual and this allows us that. Robbo will be the leader during the period of looking at applications and the interview process.”
