Weather demands somehasty changes of plan

Heavy rain on Saturday and more showers on Sunday morning meant organisers of club finals day at Adastra needed to think on their feet.

Sunday’s start had to be delayed and with only three rinks playable, it meant just six finals could be completed.

That obviously necessitated a return the following day.

At least on Sunday there was no shortchange action-wise as spectators were treated to some very close and competitive games, with one going on until it was nearly dark.
