T20 Cup wins for Goring and Worthing - defeats for Broadwater and Findon
Danny Botham and Danny Pittham both hit unbeaten 50s as Goring scored 137-2 to overtake Pagham’s 135 all out.

“Nearly all of the bowlers took a share of the wickets which was pleasing, and myself and Dan Pittham shared a fun partnership together to knock off the runs in good time.
“We look forward to the start of the league campaign on Saturday v Worthing.”
In other T20 Cup action, Paul Osborne hit 58 as Billingshurst (140-5) beat Broadwater (123-6) by 17 runs. Josh Sargeant took 4-11 as Bognor (126-7) beat Findon (89 all out) by 37 runs.

Hide AdJack Perman (61 not out from 27 balls) led Worthing (97-3) to a seven-wicket win against Preston Nomads 2nd XI (93-7). Worthing went on to face Middleton but it was the latter who cruised to a seven wicket win after Worthing were bowled out for 68.
