Ansty cricketers gain promotion after beating Haywards Heath
Ansty 1st XI gained promotion by beating Haywards Heath by 5 wickets.
The promotion followed an excellent season in which the team were also losing finalists in the Sussex County League T20 competition played at the County Ground Hove three weeks previously.
Needing 5 points from the match to secure promotion, Ansty’s task was either 160 runs or 6 wickets in the 1st innings.
