For some it was their first time competing for the club and for The Gym Academy it was a first to have boys representing the club at competition level.

For the two-hour novices, ten-year-old Dominic Barth showed his talents by taking a silver medal on floor and a superb vault gave him the gold, putting him joint first overall.

The youngest competitors for TGA made their debut with superb performances. Six-year-old Cayden Woodall-Jones took bronze for his floor routine. In the same age group, Kitty Brydon took silver on floor and bronze on vault and Eva Williams took gold for floor and silver on vault. In the novice seven years, Poppy-May Pallett achieved first place for her vault.

Thirteen-year-old novice Grace Eggins showed her skills with confidence to take third place on floor and second on vault.

In the intermediate seven-eight-nine-year-olds, the TGA girls had a close fought battle for floor – Anastasia Sabeydash-Janerio took a joint gold, Eleanor Farquhar and Olivia Baggott matched their points for silver and Lia-Mai Greenwell settled for bronze, all within 0.3 of each other.

Millie Watkins showed her strength on vault to take the silver.

Congratulations go to all TGA gymnasts who have worked hard over recent months.

The club are now looking forward to their remaining competitions of the year followed by the annual Christmas show in December, which will be followed by a well-deserved rest.
