Arun bowlers do their bit for leukaemia research
A charity day for leukaemia research was held at Arun, where 48 members played a match followed by a giant raffle with more than 100 prizes donated by the members.
This very successful event resulted in about £1,200 being raised.
The family of a late valued lady member, Daphne Anderson, who had raised so much for leukaemia research were present to give thanks for everything. Her widower Angus played in the match.
Arun ladies also entertained a much-depleted team from White Knights of Reading. This resulted in a resounding win for Arun, with Arun members making up for the visiting side.
