Third World services?

AM I missing something?

Most people pay out a vast amount on insurance during their working lives.

In return they get Lifetime cover for everything from law enforcement to medical care.

That insurance is of course taxation.

But when it comes to unavoidable care in old age, it seems they not only have to take out private insurance, but may find their homes are forfeit, in a second taxation.

Naturally, if we are a Third World country then we can only have Third World services, but at least they could be spread uniformly and equitably.
