A letter in the 22nd October issue of the West Sussex County Times (Horsham) from a J. Shoebridge, Arthur Road, Horsham, commented on the floral displays at Horsham Railway Station.
They also queried who was responsible for the plants.
I am writing to let you know it is the charity - Aldingbourne Trust - which maintains the displays.
The charity supports adults with learning disabilities and the Adopt a Station department are a horticultural team who plant and maintain floral displays at stations across West Sussex.
They also provide horticultural services for local companies.
If anyone would like to get in touch, the team leaders are Roland Leask and Patti Bowles – 01243 542075.
Adopt a Station is based at the charity’s main site at the Aldingbourne Country Centre near Fontwell.
More information about the charity can be found on their website: www.aldingbournetrust.co.uk
