PRIMARY school pupils from across the area descended on The Angmering School this week for a science fair.

The science department welcomed children from East Preston Infants School, East Preston Junior School, Georgian Gardens Primary School in Rustington, St John the Baptist Primary School in Findon, St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School in Angmering, Clapham and Patching Primary School and St Margaret’s Primary School in Angmering.

The Angmering Locality Science Fayre presents the best of science from each school and provides an opportunity to bring young scientists together from across the area and give them a taster of the next step in science.

Mrs Clare Towler, science teacher at The Angmering School, said: “The science fair was a fantastic opportunity for the primary school children to showcase the work they have been carrying out in Science Week.

“We loved hosting the event and seeing what they have been up to. A special thank you to all our Angmering School science ambassadors who helped run the event so enthusiastically. They were a credit to the school.“

There were fantastic experiments with wonderful contributions from the students and the event was well supported by the primary school parents.
