Vale School pupils Amy Saunders, 12, and Imogen Barber, 11, were one of four teams to take on the Tenner challenge at the school.

After making it through a Dragon’s Den-style panel with their idea of selling second-hand dog toys and treats to dog-walkers, the girls were given £10 to make the idea a reality. Adam Pannell, year seven teacher at the school, said: “The initiative is about introducing children to business. The girls did everything themselves and to make over £150 was really good.”
