X Factor producers '˜impressed' with talent at Bognor auditions

The next Olly Murs or One Direction could have been unearthed in Bognor Regis as hopefuls turned out to X Factor auditions in the town.

Saturday’s open auditions were held at the Regis Centre and the producers from the hit ITV show, there to judge the talent, were impressed with what they saw.

Hazel Lotus, chairman of the Arun Arts Trust, which runs the centre, said: “A lot of people turned out and they were filmed by the producer and cast and researcher and, as I understand it, they will now decide which people from each area are chosen for the big auditions.

“They said they had some brilliant talent and they hope to get some of them through.”
