The grand unveiling will take place on Saturday November 16 from 10am.

The planned event will entertain and educate as Horsham District Council seeks to give visitors pre-Christmas fun and an even greater sense of place and their own time in the town’s evolving history.

Horsham’s association with the horse will be featured heavily, to the potential delight of enthusiasts far and wide.

Horsham District Council’s deputy leader Helena Croft said: “I am really excited by the programme that our team are putting together.

“As well as a lot of fun on the day, the latest developments to the street will be presented in their proper context with the town’s history, showing how it has responded to the social, commercial and environmental changes that have shaped people’s reasons for being there over time.”
