Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings, mainly for the purposes of forced labour and sex trafficking. As the world’s fastest growing criminal industry, it affects every nation across the globe.

The charity states that someone becomes a victim of modern-day slavery every 30 seconds with men, women, and children are being exploited for manual and sexual labor against their will.

Beccie Rose, from Horsham Kings Church, which supports the A21 campaign said: “What’s really exciting is that the A21 campaign are doing it glabally so everyone across the world is doing it at the same time.

“The walk is to raise awareness. The route is intentional to keep it as public as possible.”

The Horsham charity Streetlight, which helps women trafficked into the district’s street trade and escorting, is also taking part.
